{"id":643,"date":"2018-12-26T12:13:48","date_gmt":"2018-12-26T06:43:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/adilfahim.com\/myblog\/?p=643"},"modified":"2018-12-26T12:13:48","modified_gmt":"2018-12-26T06:43:48","slug":"sapcannot-import-instance-profile-via-rz10","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/adilfahim.com\/myblog\/sapcannot-import-instance-profile-via-rz10\/","title":{"rendered":"SAP:Cannot import instance profile via RZ10"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hello,<\/p>\n<p>Recently after system we are facing below issue while importing the Instance Profile from SAP in RZ10 Tcode.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/adilfahim.com\/myblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/instance_profile.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"378\" height=\"81\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-637\" srcset=\"https:\/\/adilfahim.com\/myblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/instance_profile.png 378w, https:\/\/adilfahim.com\/myblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/instance_profile-300x64.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 378px) 100vw, 378px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>While multiple restart &#038; also changed the profile authorization to 777 that also doesn&#8217;t work.<\/p>\n<p>There is an SAP Note &#8211; 2157878 which describe the solution for this error, however in our case that we need to change profile parameter in START profile(if start profile is separate then Instance) &#038; also change the entry in \/usr\/sap\/sapservices file.<\/p>\n<p>Correct Entry<br \/>\nDIR_PROFILE = $(DIR_INSTALL)$(DIR_SEP)profile<\/p>\n<p>Adjust \/usr\/sap\/sapservices, change \/sapmnt\/<SID>\/profile\/<startup profile> to \/usr\/sap\/<SID>\/SYS\/profile\/<startup profile><\/p>\n<p>After updating above 2 entries &#038; then restart the application server by killing the SAPSTARSRV process, that resolve the issue &#038; we are able to import the profile in RZ10 successfully.<\/p>\n<p>Hope this Helps.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello, Recently after system we are facing below issue while importing the Instance Profile from SAP in RZ10 Tcode.
