Sometimes when we download any datafile(SAR) from SAP service market place and it gives error during uncar by sapcar so here is the procedure to check the consistency of that transferred file.
R3trans -l <filename>
If this is successful then the file is not corrupted, if a check sum error occurs then file is corrupted.
The best approach is download the file again from SMP & then uncar it.
